Best Blushes For Fair Skin

Hey Everyone! As you know I have very fair skin, think nc10, maybelline fit me 110, nars siberia, so I have come up with a list of blushes that look especially great on skin tones like mine.

I essentially have two favorite types of blush colors that I feel compliment my skin the best. One being tanned nude colors that I apply in the contour, bronzer, and blush areas of my face; the other being extremely bright colors that I sheer out and apply to the apples of my cheeks. Tan nude colors bring color and dimension to fair skin, whereas normally there isn’t much of either; and bright colors, such as a hot pink, bring life to an otherwise bland complexion. People with a dark, tanned, or olive skin tone tend to have natural dimension to the skin, and don’t need to enhance cheekbones, natural flush, or their “sunkissed glow” quite as much as people like us do (especially since most of us fair skinned people can’t get “sun kissed” without a sun burn). That being said, I still feel that fair skinned people have a different kind of advantage in that we can choose what to highlight, contour, etc. and use any colors we want since we have such a “blank canvas”. Also, I feel that highlighter look especially fantastic, glowy,  and natural on us. Enough rambling.

While fair skinned people can pull off any cheek color with ease, here are the colors I feel look most natural and suite us best :
