NYC Smooch Proof Lip Stain Review and Swatches

Hello! This post is about the NYC Smootch Proof 16H Lip Stains. These are my absolute favorite lip stains currently on the market! They literally last all day unless you lick your lips frequently, which if thats the case, they will only fade to a less intense saturation of color (I know this to be true because when I am riding horses I tend to lip my lips quite often for some reason). While I would not say this is a moisturizing product, they do not dry out even the most severely chapped lips. I have tried the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balms and the Covergirl Outlast Lipstains and they do not last nearly as long and dry out my lips terribly. They also tend to bleed out ; while the NYC Lip Stains do not. (PICTURES AND SWATCHES BELOW)

They have a standard lip stain applicator, which resembles a Crayola Marker, and a slight sweet lemon scent. The colors of the actual stain itself tend to always be a couple shades darker than the tube color. That is to be expected with stains because deeper colors are much easier to make stay than lighter shades. Although the color selection is decent to good, I wish they would expand the line considerably; just because I like them so much! Lastly, they last an average amount of time for a lip stain, which is anywhere from a few weeks to up to three months before drying out. Fortunately they are at a price point to where it is not a great expense to replace them after its lifespan has ended. You can get them at :

JCat Beauty Lipstick Review and Swatches

Hey Everyone! This post is all about the Fantabulous Lipsticks by JCat Beauty. These lipsticks are super smooth and creamy! They  have Vitamin E  in them so they are very moisturizing, which I love because I have very dry lips. When applied, they start out sheer, but can be built up into an extremely vibrant color. I love that you have the option of what intensity you want the color to be!

Although these lipsticks can be worn anywhere from sheer to vibrant, they are literally no fuss, just throw on and go. These colors don’t bleed or smudge, so you don’t need lip liner (unless you want to) or a mirror. They have a semi glossy finish, and stay on all day through eating, drinking, etc.

JCat Beauty is also a cruelty-free company! As if that wasn’t enough, their products are also hypoallergenic and lead-free, so everyone can wear them.

They are normally only $2.49, but right now you can get these 15% off with discount code spring15 until March 15 2013 at http://www.jcatbeauty.com

Here are the ones I currently have : (PICTURES /SWATCHES BELOW)

(FL105) Prune – a nude mauve pink (similar to MAC Hot Gossip but more pink )

(FL127) Splashed Pink – a blue toned barbie pink with shimmer

(FL114) Wolfberry – a bright coral with a bit of orange

Maybelline Color Tattoo Review and Swatches

Hey Guys! This post is all about the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadows. I absolutely love these because they are super long wearing and come in different finishes. You can use them as a base for other eyeshadows or wear them alone and they look great all day. In my opinion they are basically super charged MAC paint pots. I find that the paint pots crease quickly and don’t work well on their own, but the Color Tattoos do! You can get them at the drugstore for about $7.00.

My favorites are:

(10) Fierce & Tangy – a bright slightly burnt orange color with a very small amount of gold shimmer. matte/satin finish

(45) Bold Gold – a golden khaki coin color with shimmer. satin/frost finish

(55) Inked in Pink – a rosey mauve pink color. metallic/frost finish

(70) Barely Branded – a champagne vanilla color. metallic/ frost finish (similar to Bare Study paint pot by MAC)

“Pumpkin” Fall Makeup Look

Hey! Don’t you just love fall? Fall is my absolute favorite time of year because it kicks off the holidays and the start of cooler weather. The seasonal Starbucks drinks don’t hurt either 😉 And who can endure fall without the BBW Leaves candle!? Anyways, Today I filmed a makeup tutorial inspired by fall and the beautiful orange color of pumpkins. Heres how to do it :

And here are the products I used ❤
